We are also planning our third annual DECA Pride @ The Market on June 21st from 3-7pm, generously sponsored by Steve’s Quality Meats and Deli (1938 Danforth – across the street from East Lynn Park).

Over the course of the afternoon, we’ll have Pride themed arts and crafts with Silly Goose Kids and Create Art Studio and we’re happy to welcome back the Coe Hill Girls to sing and play from about 5-6pm.

Shout out to corbin creative for designing the poster.

Happy Pride, Danforth East!

DECA PRIDE!

DECA Pride is a new group we have started to bring together a community within a community.

There is a thriving LGBTQ community in our neighbourhood, and we thought it was time to create some events geared toward LGBTQ individuals, couples and families who want to meet others and take part in events right here in our neighbourhood.  Allies are also welcome!

And guess what? We have planned our first event – games, drinks and fun on June 12 from 5:00-8:00pm at Time Capsule Board Game Cafe (2183 Danforth).

If you would like to organize an event and to be added to our email distribution list, email pride@deca.to

Shout out to Angela Wagner of  Umlaut Design for the poster
